Planning, cont. 4. Plan your attack 5. Establish a timetable Put your plan in action with a schedule. There's nothing like a deadline to mobilize energy. But be kind to yourself. If you become a slave to your schedule, you'll likely get quickly frustrated at slipped deadlines. It's important to be realistic about what you can change and what you can't. Emergencies arise, goals change, plans and schedules are made to be altered. But if you do miss a deadline, immediately set another and begin working toward it. Finally, you must make a commitment. And remember you're not a kid any more. Despite what you may think or how you may feel today, this fact is in your favor!
