St. Petersburg Junior College

Although St. Petersburg Junior College ranks #31 nationally in student population, it ranks:

  • #3 in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Associate in Arts) degrees awarded
  • #4 in Nursing Associate degrees awarded
  • #4 in Health Professions & Related Sciences Associate degrees awarded
  • #5 in total Associate degrees (A.A. and A.S.) awarded


    • The new College University Center, located at the Seminole and Clearwater campuses, is partnering with several four-year colleges and universities to offer a bachelor's degree and postgraduate degrees. These four-year schools include Sain Leo University, Eckerd College, Florida State University 2+2, Florida Gulf Coast University, University of Central Florida, University of South Florida, Florida International University.

    In addition to A.A. and A.S. programs, SPJC offers:

  • Applied Technology Diplomas
  • Certificates
  • Associate in Applied Science Degrees
  • Continuing Education classes


    • For some courses, students also have the option to take televised, web-based or a combination of teleweb classes.

    Next year, SPJC plans to offer an e-commerce A.S. degree, plus eight new certificate programs.
